Zen stones

Integrated artistry

Welcome

I am a Dallas-based performance coach specializing in training the whole artist, mind, body and voice. I am trained and certified to teach vocal technique, Meisner in Music, and yoga, and I used all three methods to help individuals reach their full potential as an integrated artist and professional.

Zen stones

Body. mind. Soul.

Voice & Acting

I offer one-on-one voice lessons that focus on technique, with insight from a mind-body perspective. I also offer monologue coaching, audition prep, and public speaking prep. All sessions are offered in 30, 45 and 60 minute increments, all based on a $60/hour rate

Yoga

I am available for private yoga instruction, retreats and group classes. Rates will vary based on each project, and I am happy to send you a quote based on your needs.

Meisner in Music ™️

Meisner in Music work is offered on a one-on-one basis, but is ideally presented as a group class or workshop. I am available to do master classes or weekly enrollement workshops. Please contact me to see what best will fit the needs of you and your group.

my story

The journey

I am a classically trained singer with a Masters in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory. As a performer, I always felt, despite my training and experience, that I had to prove myself worthy each time I sang. I was unable to separate myself as a person from myself as a singer. Imposter syndrome ran rampant.

Even though I’d trained for years, I had been missing a crucial aspect of being an artist: integration. “Performer Sarah” had been working in a silo from the rest of me. I realized I am more than just the artist, I am a human being. Yoga and Meisner in Music were two critical tools I found to bring me back to my Self—and bring my artistry to a new level—one of play, discovery and self-acceptance. I decided to become certified as both a Meisner in Music teacher and an RYS 200 Yoga instructor so that my work as a coach is truly integrated.

I love helping others find these tools to get back what they may have lost through years of traditional training. We all need to be reminded of the joy that brought us to what we do in the first place. I hope you’ll reach out and start that journey!
